We are excited to share that Fair Trade Electives has been selected to join the 2025 Converge Create Change cohort.
Converge is a brilliant initiative supporting innovative ideas with the potential for real-world impact. Being selected as a Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) representative recognises both the strength of our vision and the pressing need for a more ethical approach to global health education.
“This is a huge achievement for us,” said co-founder Amy Blake. “We’re proud to be building a model that centres equity, mutual benefit and partnerships and thrilled to have the support of Converge as part of our journey”
Through the programme, FTE will receive expert mentoring, business support, and the opportunity to pitch for further investment. This will help us strengthen our model, expand our university partnerships, and bring ethical electives to more students across the UK.
We’re in brilliant company and honoured to be part of a dynamic cohort of changemakers working across health, education, sustainability, and social justice.
