Looking for something where you will be immersed in a broad community and invited to contribute in a range of ways.  Start with:

2. Mission, District General Hospitals and Community settings

Looking for a classical clinical placement in a service focused unit. Typically, a bit more ‘hands on’.  Start with:

These electives are being offered to students seeking an elective with a view to pursuing a career in the discipline.  It is expected that you will be highly motivated and keen to learn.

7. Project/Research potential

Conducting an assessed project whilst on your elective always involves some risks of non-completion and you should discuss this with your university to find out their requirements before applying.  These placements are arranged on a bespoke basis in discussion with our academic lead and the host organisation.  These sites have demonstrated their ability to support students (e.g. with local ethics approval) or are confident in their ability to do so.  Please seek a discussion with Jon via this link well in advance (Acad Lead Calendly).
