We are excited to share that preparations are well underway for the arrival of our first two Fair Trade Electives students in Malawi, another really big moment as we expand our network of medical electives.
Our Malawian partners, Nkomha and Medic to Medic offer elective placements that are educational, respectful, and rooted in local priorities. From hospital rotations to rural clinic work, students will have the opportunity to engage meaningfully with Malawi’s healthcare system while learning from experienced clinicians and community health professionals.
Malawi is known as the warm heart of Africa, and our placement sites reflect that spirit. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our students and hearing about their placements.
