Our Gahini FTE Students have Started their Electives this Week!

This week, students have started their elective placements at Gahini Hospital in Rwanda.

Gahini Hospital plays a vital role in delivering healthcare to rural communities. Our students will be learning directly from local healthcare teams, while also seeing first-hand the challenges and strengths of community-led healthcare in Rwanda.

Every elective we run is based on our fair trade model, which means placements are shaped and led by the hospital itself, not by outside providers. This ensures that the value of the experience benefits local communities as much as it does the students.

We’re excited to see what our students learn and contribute during their time in Gahini.
