We are delighted to announce that Fair Trade Electives has been awarded funding from Santander Universities in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University’s Entrepreneurial Hub.
This grant is a key step forward in our development, supporting us to build the digital infrastructure required to manage ethical placements at scale.
“Digital systems might not be the most visible part of what we do, but they’re vital to our mission,” said co-founder Amy Blake. “We’re incredibly grateful to Santander and GCU for recognising the potential of Fair Trade Electives and helping us put the right foundations in place.”
This funding allows us to move from vision to implementation as we prepare for our first full cohort of placements in 2025. Huge thanks to the teams at Santander Universities and the GCU Entrepreneurial Hub for their belief in our work.
